After sales customer & technical support
Once your new website is live we do not abandon you! We will be there to provide you with backup should you have a problem or require an alteration for your site.
We provide unlimited technical support for all our clients both during the web build and thereafter, and for any of the other services we provide. There is no time limit on this support and you can ask us as many questions as you like. If you are setting up your website for the first time and have a few questions and queries or need extra help with your content management system, we provide free after sales support to make sure you get the best from your investment.
Payment of our final invoice for the completion of a website is not the end of our sales support - it lasts 30 days and during that time if you find that you need to make a tweak here or there, or perhaps want some content altered on your site, these small alterations are usually free of charge.
We do reserve the right to make a charge if the alteration is extensive, time-consuming or complex or occurs after the first 30 days. Any major changes or additions to your site, such as the addition of an online shop will obviously carry a cost implication if it is in addition to your original requirements.
Support enquiries are handled via telephone or email.
Website performance and service interruptions
Our website management system is hosted on premium UK servers and built by I-Next Ltd who has been carefully selected to ensure we provide you with the best performance possible for your website.
As with all internet services, on the odd occasion there may be a technical problem or a period of downtime where the service is interrupted. We do not guarantee 100% uptime for your site as this is an impossibility - but all sites are constantly monitored and should any problems come to our attention we will deal with it immediately. In the last 18 months, there has only been one period of downtime lasting just a couple of hours (at midnight) - and that was a human error rather than a system failure! Our own website is hosted on the same technology and we are happy to give Service Guarantees because we are so confident in the performance of the server technology.
Website maintenance
The biggest challenge to keeping a website up-to-date is finding the time to do it yourself! Some website maintenance changes will be straightforward while others may require changes to your templates or other complex work.
Ad-hoc website changes
We are happy to quote for individual pieces of work. Larger web site maintenance projects will benefit from a face-to-face meeting whereas on smaller projects it is usually sufficient to exchange a few e-mails or telephone calls.
Website maintenance support services
We offer website maintenance support at discounted rates for clients that need more regular support and a faster turn-around on website changes, based on a website maintenance retainer for an agreed number of hours each month.
